Hello parents! The beginning of the school year is always very busy, so I apologize for the late start on the website.

In our class right now, we are all learning different things!

 

In math, our main topics are simple addition and subtraction facts, identifying groups of more or less, and counting objects.

 

In language arts, we are learning how to retell stories with a beginning, middle, and end, short vowels and stretching out words, and identifying letters and sounds. 

​

In social studies and science, we are learning about soft and loud sounds, fire safety and how you should have a plan at home in case there was ever a fire. 

​

We have also been identifying the difference between tattling and telling for our social group. Tattling is to get someone in trouble, telling is to keep you and others safe.
