Week of April 13- April 17, 2020:

Welcome week 4 of our social distancing class! I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break last week. Please keep on checking the class website for new resources on the "resources" page and videos on the "staying connected" tab. Starting next week, we will be utilizing Flipgrid to stay connected as a class. This will allow your students to make videos of themselves to answer some discussion topics with only our class that has access to this.

 

Next week, choice boards for each grade will also be sent out by me which has an assignment per subject for each day.  These are still not required by your students, but topics that are all review for your child. If your student needs any extra help, please let me know and I would love to zoom with them and say hi! 

 

For this week, continue to access Clever for resources and our resources tab on this website. Also any packets that I've sent through email that you can print out and work with your student on. Please familiarize yourself and your student with Flipgrid if you think this is something that you would like to be a part of. There is an assignment up right now that just asks your student to say hello to their classmates.

Click on the K-2 Resources link and scroll to kindergarten or first grade depending on the grade of your student. On these pages, you will see the standards we are currently working towards and online resources for each subject. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
